Jesus Movements have historically changed the world because they have transformative energy and have a catalytic impact on society. Movements influence society on every level because they initiate social, spiritual, and systemic change and spark imagination and innovation. The Church has gradually become more like an institution than a movement and is rarely the world-changing, transformative movement Jesus intended.
